This blog will be a fashion blog. I will be covering in specifics everyday fashion and style of the current college student. I will be documenting classmates, roommates and friends who have a great sense of style. I selected this topic because I love seeing what the people around me are wearing and trying to incorporate that into my everyday style. I love reading everyday style blogs because the fashion in them is attainable and easy to incorporate it into my everyday life.
I plan to collect my photos and the media for this blog by asking classmates, people in my organizations and my friends to assist me. I will also document people that I just see that I enjoy what they are wearing. The fashion school is full of fashion forward students and people who keep up to date on what is trending and what to wear. It will be easy to find people who will be willing to help me and who would like to talk about what they are wearing.
One idea I have would be to try to spot arising trends and document them in a trend board. I could find styles whether it is a color, new shoe style or a new way to wear something, I would like to document the trends that will be coming up in college style. For the video project I would like to document athleisure in college student style. Athletic wear and comfortable clothing is making waves in the fashion industry and I would like to document students who have a great taste in fashion forward clothing.
